AdoptionThe truth is that there are many women who are unsure of their pregnancy regardless of their age, marital status or educational background. Pregnancy is a time when the emotions are intense and if time, money or lack of help is also a concern, the emotions can often be overwhelming. You are not alone!
As a woman who is overwhelmed with her pregnancy, it is important to slow down and research all of your options. Take the time to research the negative consequences of abortion, view your unborn child on ultrasound and learn the other options available to you and your child. The good news about your situation is that there are so many families all over the country that would love to have a baby of their own, but can not due to infertility. They are waiting for a person like you - a person that wants to give a baby life, and share that baby with them. If you can not care for your child, regardless of the reason, adoption may be the right choice for you! There is no cost to you and you will be blessed to give a child life.We refer to three different adoption agencies, all of whom will answer any questions you have: Bethany Christian Services is one of the nation's leading providers of adoption and crisis pregnancy support information and an adoption agency we refer to. They operate a national hotline, which is active from 8 AM to 12 PM, 7 days a week (1-800-Bethany). This hotline routes callers to one of 56 local offices that can then provide local and regional information. We also refer to another adoption agency, Adoption Associates, Inc.. They can be reached at 1-800-677-2367. Adoption Associates is an adoption agency based in Jenison, Michigan. They help with the total adoption process including: pregnancy counseling, medical and living expenses, choosing the adoptive parent, organizing birth parent support groups, legal process and support for birth fathers. The third adoption agency that we refer to is Kalamazoo Caring Network. This is an agency that helps those who aren’t sure if parenting is the best choice for them. Adoption options are discussed with an adoption counselor at their facility in Kalamazoo. |
