In addition to direct donations, there are many other ways that you can indirectly support us financially.
  • Through ScripCents. ScripCents, in coordination with Alternatives, has a full-service custom online ordering portal to boost fundraising efforts through the sale of gift cards. This is the first of its kind and will allow you the ability to order gift cards online and benefit Alternatives at the same time. You can view the over 150 local businesses that participate at the scripcents website. Each merchant will donate the designated percentage to Alternatives. All ordering of gift cards can be done online. The Alternatives Code is 42T71U4. Thank you for helping with this new and exciting method of donation!
  • Hardings Rewards Program. Hardings is supporting a new program which gives 1-4% of all purchases made at their stores to a charity of your choice. You may register at any Hardings store or online at Hardings.com. The number for Alternatives is 500006354.
  • United Way Giving.  Many of our supporters give to the United Way. You can give to Alternatives through United Way by writing in "Alternatives Women's Care Center" in the donor area of your United Way form.
  • Meijer Community Rewards. Giving through the Meijer Community Rewards program is another excellent way to support us. Our Meijer Rewards number is 918565. Up to 4% of your purchases are donated to the charitable organization of your choosing through this program.
You can help us support women in need by donating baby food, maternity and baby clothing (size 0-3T) and items for children. We accept drop-offs at our W. Michigan location from 10am-4pm weekdays. We are always in need of volunteer advisers, receptionists, mentors, and board members, as well as church liaisons to help us in raising funds and experts in medical and financial fields to teach life-skills classes.  If you want to help, please call Bonnie at 345-1740. The success of Alternatives is based on the prayers of God's people. Your prayers, for us and for the women involved in difficult situations, are essential.

Our Mission
To reach our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ by offering hope and meeting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs that safeguard the rights, dignity, and health of unborn children and their parents.

Our Faith
We believe...

  • that God created the heavens and the earth.
  • that God's Son, Jesus Christ, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, was crucified, died and was buried. He rose again on the third day and ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God. He will one day return to judge the righteous and the unrighteous.
  • in the work of God, the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is able to live a godly life and to perform work for the kingdom of God.
  • that the Bible is the inspired, infallible and inerrant authoritative Word of God.
  • in the sanctity of human life as created by God, and in the worth of that life from the point of conception to natural death.
