Hannah's House

Hannah’s House is our maternity home where we offer direct support to women who have decided to carry their babies to term but the emotional support or necessary means to do so. While offering a home to live in while they are pregnant, we are able to stand behind the words “Choose Life”. Those accepted in the program are offered a steady, helpful, and supportive environment while they are pregnant and for the weeks following the birth of their child.

While living at the house, residents must be either finishing school or working, and a Hannah’s House van is used to transport them to doctor appointments, counseling sessions, school or other necessary places.

Goals are established each week and throughout the week our social service coordinator works with residents to hold them accountable to meet the goals that were made. Goals include attending classes offered at the home, helping with chores and many other normal household activities.

Upon reaching these weekly goals the residents are awarded points, which can be used to “purchase” items in our Hannah’s House store. This store has everything from baby items to household goods and allows our residents to get a head-start on the things that they will be needing when they are back on their own.

Classes offered at Hannah’s House include educational life skills and topics such as Parenting, Mom’s in Training (MIT), Budgeting, Boundaries and Infant Massage.
